Eminem Talks About "Relapse"

For those who haven't heard, Eminem has been back in the lab, hard at work at planning his big comeback for 2009 with his new album, "Relapse." The album is set to be released around Spring 09, and is said to be a throwback to the good ol' days with legendary producer Dr. Dre.

Eminem recently sent an e-mail to Billboard, and spoke a little about the new album.

Here are some highlights:

"Me and Dre are back in the lab like the old days, man." "Just him banging away on tracks and me getting that little spark that makes me write to it. I don't have chemistry like that with anyone else as far as producers go — not even close. Dre will end up producing the majority of the tracks on Relapse. We are up to our old mischievous ways. ... Let's just leave it at that."

He also spoke about the leaked tracks that have recently surfaced online:

"It wasn't close to finished, and it even has me doing guide vocals for Dre as a suggestion of how he could lay his verses down." It's like someone catches you peeping in your window before you got the Spider Man costume all zipped up! Nobody is supposed to see that. We are gonna finish it up, though, and get it out there how it's supposed to be."

Eminem also denies the reports about a "Stan Part2," which producer Swizz Beatz claimed was going to happen.

Now I don't know if you guys feel the same as I do about this "big" comeback, but I'm personally a little unsure that he can pull this off. I mean, he was good during his glory days but a lot has changed in hip-hop. But hey, I might be wrong. Eminem was a lyrical genius, and with Dre by his side,I'd say he's definitely got the right ammo for this gunfight.

Eminem x Marvel: The Punisher

In light of Eminem's big return to hip-hop, XXL has teamed up with him and Marvel Comics to give you, "The Punisher." The first 8 pages of the story will be featured in XXL's June issue. The 8 remaining pages will be available for free at Marvel Digital Comics starting today!

This is definitely an interesting partnership in my opinion. To see an artist like Eminem team up with Marvel and be featured with one of their most famous characters is just awesome. It's definitely a new approach to add even more hyp to his album's release.

Pussycat Dolls: Out Of This Club

"This Is So Going In My Blog"

New day, new track for u guys!! The Pussycat Dolls have been out of the scene for a while since Nicole, the lead singer tried to start a solo career. Guess that didnt go anywhere. Anyways, The Pussycat Dolls are back and better than ever. Their back with a new album titled, "Doll Domination" to be released on Sept. 16, with super producer, Timbaland being the executive producer. Sounds AWESOME! Timbo's a genius! "Doll Domination" will also have tracks produced by other producers such as: Dr. Dre, Timbaland, Eminem, The Clutch, Sean Garrett, Scott Storch, Darkchild, Fernando, Garibay, Ryan Tedder, Mark Taylor, Taio Cruz, and many more!

Their first single, "When I Grow Up" has already started climbing the charts! Bravo! Now here's a track that could possibly be their second single titled, "Out of This Club", and it features none other than the Pied Piper himself, R. Kelly!

I think this song definitely has the potential. I personally like it more than "When I Grow Up." The track is smooth, and with R. Kelly featuring, u cant go wrong! But let me know what u guys think! COMMENT:

Ruben Studdard: How You Make Me Feel

Ruben Studdard comes at us today with a brand new track from his upcoming album, "Love Is." This joint is titled, "How You Make Me Feel" and is produced by one of my favorite producers of today, Stargate!

I wonder though, with Studdard's new album coming out the same time as other artists like, Busta Rhymes and Eminem, would people actually run to the store and grab his album? I honestly think that his record label isn't doing a good enough job at timing his album's release, or even promoting it for that matter. I mean, I think the new tracks from this album are dope, and Studdard deserves to sell albums.
