The CW's Smallville Season 8 Episodes
Smallville's 8th season marks plenty of changes for the hit TV show. First off, creators Miles Millar and Al Gough leave the show. Then cast members Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk decide not to renew their contracts. However, Kristin does appear in 5 episodes. To fill the void, the new producers cast new members to the show! We have 2 new villains in the form of Tess Mercer played by Cassidy Freeman, and Davis Bloome a.k.a Doomsday played by Sam Witwer. They have also made Green Arrow played by Justin Hartley a series regular.
This season, Clark gets even closer to fully accepting the destiny we all know he's destined for. The theme for this season is "dual identity." As Clark begins to accept his destiny, he begins to realize that he may need to find a way from anyone uncovering his true identity. And with new villains like Lex's protege, Tess and Doomsday himself, it's not gonna be easy for Clark to keep his identity a secret! This season promises plenty of surprises for the Smallville fans out there!! Lois and Clark become closer than ever, another DC Comic character is featured, the Legion of Superheroes is brought in, with comic book writer Geoff Johns writing the episode, the wedding of a cast member, and many many more!

Just so we're clear, I wanna start off by saying that I am a huge Smallville fan!! HUGE! And when this season was announced, I was unsure about it at first! 8 years of Clark trying to accept his destiny is just a few years too long if you ask me. BUT, with new producers helming the show, new life is breathed into the show! They have made the stories tighter, and the pace faster. This season to me, is one of the best in the series for sure! Clark is finally taking actions to fulfill his destiny, he's no longer joining away for Lana every chance he gets! And I love, love, love what they're doing with Doomsday! I thought at first that it would be stupid to bring him in and make him human, but they have definitely found a way to add more depth to this character!! I can go on and on talking about how great this season is, but I suggest you guys go download it for yourselves and see what I'm talking about!
