Highsnobiety.com recently produced a viral video for the upcoming Louis Vuiton x Kanye West sneakers, which hit stores in June 2009.

I don't really know if I would wear the sneakers, but I love the video! It's both classy and trendy! Only Kanye and LV could pull such a vid off.

The Best of The Sartorialist- Milan & Paris

I'm a big fan of The Sartorialist a.k.a. Scott Schuman, an excellent fashion photographer who roams the streets of the most fashionable cities of the world. I think its amazing how this guy simply takes pictures for a living. He travels around the globe, experiences different cultures, meeting the biggest names such as Kanye West, Andre 3000, etc. I check his blog daily. Kanye West. The Louis Vuitton Don?

I'm not sure I agree with everything on this outfit. I love how this old man can pull of the ensemble, but the tight pants, or should I say spandex? I don't know.

Fonzworth Bentley. His suit is always well tailored. Not a damn thing wrong with this suit.

Plaid is in. And you know it. You probably have one in your closet right now. Is it time to move on from plaid?

Rarely do I say Grey is good. But in this case I think otherwise.

KANYE WEST FOR LOUIS VUITTON INTERVIEW

Dazed Digital: What was the inspiration behind the sneakers you’ve designed for Louis Vuitton?

Kanye West: They’ve got a sci-fi influence with this flap up at the back. It came from a scene in ‘Dune’ where there was this jacket with a huge collar. Also Japanese pop art.

DD: What did you think when you saw them on the runway?

KW: I thought they really rocked. They kinda just ripped the runway open didn’t it? As soon as they put that red, it was killer! It’s like an accessory that can express your personality. Like an instant tattoo!

DD: Why shoes?

KW: They’re a great entry point into a luxury brand. For people who can’t afford to buy $2000 trousers, they can take these shoes and mix it with jeans from another brand.

DD: How did the collaboration with Louis Vuitton come about? Did you contact them?

KW: They chose to contact me. Who wouldn’t want to work with Louis Vuitton? They’re the number one luxury brand. It lets people know you like nice things.

DD: Where did your obsession with fashion come from as a kid?

KW: I don’t know. I just love clothes. I picked out my own clothes when I first went to kindergarten and there’s no turning back since. And I’ve always been into clothes and I’ve always been into myself. And none of that’s changed since I’ve become a celebrity. It’s just allowed me to be more into myself and more into clothes!

DD: What are your aspirations as a designer?

KW: I wanna be the type of designer that inspires people, not follow other ideas. I wanna be as innovative as Marc Jacobs has been. I wanna go from being a fashion plate to being an innovator. This collaboration is a dream come true. Everybody comes to these shows has a love of fashion, but then it’s just figuring out what’s your place in it. I’m a walking billboard but to be able to now create something from scratch is amazing.

DD: Can we talk a bit about your blog for a minute because it is INSANE and we love it. Is it a way for you to break down the barriers between yourself and your fans?

KW: It gives me the opportunity to do a lot of things. Blogs are great for everybody to express, “This is what I’m into. This is what my taste level is. This is the stuff that inspires me.” And then now instead of stuff I send through my email, I’ll send through my blog. Sometimes if I’m looking for an appartment, I’ll send stuff out and look through my own blog. It’s stuff I’m into. Like when I put the girl’s section up (“Where are you Yeezy?” section which features scantily clad girls all saying the aforementioned) It’s all different girls I’m into. I like model girls, edgy girls, fashion girls and outright porn girls too!

DD: You’ve given Dazed Digital some love in the past. What other blogs do you check on a regular basis?

KW: What’s really cool about my blog is I give credit to the blogs so you can click and go to the blog. So like Selectism, High Snobiety, Hypebeast, Bossip, Perez.

DD: What other shows are you looking forward to seeing this week?

KW: Raf, my good friend, Raf. And Dunhill, Kim Jones.

Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Sneakers

It seems like Kanye West a.k.a. Martin Louis The King, Jr has been really busy working with fashion titan, Louis Vuitton to release their first set of sneakers sometime this Fall 2009, or January 2010.

I think we can all agree that Kanye has definitely taken his love for LV to the next level.

Today we give you guys a brief preview of the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Low-Top Sneakers. They are featured in a couple of colorways; all black, red, and white.

I think these sneakers look great! I'm sure not all of you agree with me as I was also hesitant when I first saw them. If I had to choose one of the three, I would have to go with the white. I thjink it looks clean, classy, and trendy at the same time! I think that such a collaboration like Mr. West and LV is awesome! I've got high hopes and expectations from these guys, I just hope I'm not disappointed.

Kanye West Introduces New Sneakers @ Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

I'm really glad to see Kanye West being so active in the fashion industry. I think fashion needs a guy like Kanye to introduce the world to new styles! Kanye has always been acknowledged for his sense of style. He is a man who knows exactly what look he wants, and how to pull it off. And the idea of a Kanye and Louis Vuitton collaboration just blows my mind. Never could I have imagined before that I would see such a collaboration. I am definitely looking forward to seeing the products these two produce in the near future!

Louis Vuitton Spring 2009 Sneakers. Or is it?

Here is the upcoming line of Louis Vuitton Sneakers. They say that the brand wanted to create a more subtle collection as compared to the previously loud and overly cluttered designs that they had. The brand was said to be heavily inspired by the Vans Sk8 Hi and Sk8 Lo. If you ask me, the designs look exactly alike, or maybe even identical. I have never really admired the Louis Vuitton Sneaker collection, but this has taken me a few more steps back from admiration. This looks like a direct clone of the Vans Sk8 Hi & Lo.

Does anyone else agree with me?

Kanye West To Intern At Louis Vuitton

Grammy award winner Kanye West is truly a man of vision. We see this with all the successful endeavors that he has done. He has produced, rapped, and has even created "art".

But the high-tempered multi-tasker has decided to add one more thing to his already impressive resume! And that ladies and gents is FASHION! He's already started this with his "Pastelle" line.

Mr. West has decided to take some time off from music to move to London so he can intern at none other than Louis Vuitton.

Friends say that he has even joked about it saying he will even make and serve tea if that meant getting his foot in the door.

Honestly, I think that this is an awesome idea on Kanye's part. While I already see him as a fashionite with awesome visions of fashion and trends, I also think that it couldn't hurt to learn a little more from people have been in the fashion biz for a lot longer. And who better to teach the Louis Vuitton Don than Louis Vuitton themselves right? At least Kanye is really taking the necessary steps to become a full on designer, unlike some celebrities who wake up one day and just decide to "design."

Tired of your suitcase? Ever wnated a suitcase that was easy to bring around and still look fashionable? No no, I'm not talking about Louis Vuitton or other signature brands. I'm talking about Samsonite. Samsonite has become one of the most popular brands in the suitcase industry. And now that times are changing and slowly stepping into the future, it's only right that our suitcases get a facelift.

Now I know what you guys are thinking. This bag looks awesome! Well guys, I introduce to you guys the Samsonite OBAG. The OBAG is a suitcase that's gonna make maneuvering stairs a lot easier. Not only is it gonna make travelling easier, but it's probably the nicest suitcase any of you have seen in a long time. No more fat suitcases, no more trollies, nothing, zip, nada! Instead, combine both and form a sweet looking suitcase!

Now I bet you guys are thinking where can I get and how much? Yeah, I thought the same thing too. Bad news is, this suitcase is still a concept and hasn't been confirmed for production. But don't fret, I'm sure that this design will come to life soon! My guess is, we'll probably seeing these in the next year or two so stay tuned for updates!

This next artist needs no introduction. "The Louis Vuitton Don", Kanye West is back with his anticipated first single off his new album, "808 & Heartbeat." This joint's titled, "Love Lockdown." Be sure to watch out for his album which comes out this December!

Kanye is definitely trying new stuff with his material. I've never heard anything like this jam from from the hip-hop star, and I'm definitely lovin' it! It's a fresh sound, and for some reason, I can't take it off repeat. Check it!

Kanye West has just announced that he is taking the same route in his career that superstars, Diddy and Jay-Z took. He's expanding his Hip-Hop empire to include fashion! "Sounds awesome!" But leave it to Kanye to do this bigger and better! The rapper revealed that he will be designing shoes for designer brand, Louis Vuitton! "Good Stuff!" Kanye West was quoted saying, "I grew up with the Louis look, you know. I just love the style."

I will definitely be keeping my eye out for these babies! They'll probably be a little over my budget, but a little window shopping is always fun!! So for those whose budgets are bigger than mine, stay tuned as I will keep you guys posted on when this "Kanye West/Louis Vuitton" collaboration might be released!
