Introducing the long and awaited clothing line of Kanye West. PASTELLE. I've heard about this brand a few years back and its about time that Kanye West release a line of his own! The rapper/producer/fashionista is partnering up with accomplished designer Kim Jones (formerly of UMBRO by Kim Jones). The great thing about Kanye is his diverse taste in fashion. Being a rapper you would think that the pieces would propel a heavy hiphop image, however seeing these images say otherwise. I don't know you be the judge. Pastelle will be in stores in the United States sometime soon. The official release? We have no idea. The team will keep you in the loop.

Kanye West, Pastelle Preview

Once again Kanye West gives us a snippet of his clothing line Pastelle. I don't know if you readers can pinpoint the last post I had on this brand. Its been a long while and still we haven't seen any Pastelle items on the shelf. Is it a marketing strategy or is it really taking that long? LATEST NEWS ON PASTELLE

Just some quick news on the Pastelle clothing line. It is confirmed that the release of the initial collection will be on January of next year. The pictures below is another version of the jacket he wore in the VMA's, which was only designed 3 weeks ago! Straight off the manufacturing shop. The air Yeezy's will also be released next year on the month of March. For all you Kanye fans out there, 2009 will be a treat to your sartorial palettes.

Kanye West To Intern At Louis Vuitton

Grammy award winner Kanye West is truly a man of vision. We see this with all the successful endeavors that he has done. He has produced, rapped, and has even created "art".

But the high-tempered multi-tasker has decided to add one more thing to his already impressive resume! And that ladies and gents is FASHION! He's already started this with his "Pastelle" line.

Mr. West has decided to take some time off from music to move to London so he can intern at none other than Louis Vuitton.

Friends say that he has even joked about it saying he will even make and serve tea if that meant getting his foot in the door.

Honestly, I think that this is an awesome idea on Kanye's part. While I already see him as a fashionite with awesome visions of fashion and trends, I also think that it couldn't hurt to learn a little more from people have been in the fashion biz for a lot longer. And who better to teach the Louis Vuitton Don than Louis Vuitton themselves right? At least Kanye is really taking the necessary steps to become a full on designer, unlike some celebrities who wake up one day and just decide to "design."
