First Look At Gambit In Wolverine

A few months ago, VANTAGE provided you guys with the comic-con footage of the upcoming marvel flick, Wolverine.

Well today, we're giving u the first look at my favorite X-Men, Gambit!! Gambit will be played by Taylor Kitsch (The Covenant).

Gambit possesses the ability to manipulate kinetic energy. He is also an expert at throwing playing cards.

He is a professional thief, and only a few of the X-Men really trust him.

Wolverine will be directed by Gavin Hood, and star Hugh Jackman, Taylor Kitsch, Liev Schrieber, Ryan Reynolds, and many more!

The movie will feature the events leading up to the events of the first X-Men film. "Wolverine" tells the story of Wolverine's past, especially his love life and complicated past with Victor Creed a.k.a Sabertooth, and the ominous Weapon-X Program.

I am beyond psyched to see this film. Wolverine was always the most famous of the X-Men, but I looooove how they've finally incorporated Gambit into the stories. I felt that that was the missing piece of the previous films. You can't have an X-Men movie without Gambit people!!! And I also think that they did a good job at casting. This dude actually looks like him!

Wolverine comes out May 1st!!

Wolverine: Will You Watch It?

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

"Wolverine" is a prequel to the previous "X-Men" films. It'll basically follow Logan's past, showing him discover the world of mutants, and the "Weapon X" program. The movie sees Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine with other actors such as Liev Schrieber who plays Wolverine's nemesis, Sabretooth, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Danny Huston as William Stryker, and last but not least, my favorite X-Men, Taylor Kitsh as GAMBIT!!

The movie is very "hush hush" so I can't really tell you much except that it will be released on May 1, 2009, and that the inclusion of Gambit and Deadpool could eventually lead to spin-off's! "What-Up"

I'm surprisingly very excited for this movie........after seeing the comic-con footage, I felt like this could be THE "X-Men" movie we all wanted from the beginning.!! The inclusion of Gambit is definitely my favorite part! Dayum!! So I give to you guys the clip, check it!

Wolverine Theatrical Trailer Leaked!!

As most of you know, VANTAGE has been keeping you guys up-to-date on the upcoming X-Men Origins movie, Wolverine. We have given you the, as well as some movie stills and promo shots. Well today we're giving you the official bootleg trailer that has recently leaked online. This trailer was attached to Keanu Reeve's new movie, The Day The Earth Stood Still.

Wolverine Theatrical Trailer:

I think that the trailer looks way cool. I especially love how the film's tone looks very serious! Most of Marvel's film tend to add a little too much humor in the films, so it's nice to see that Wolverine is stepping away from that. The scenes with Gambit are definitely the highlight for me! It looks like Gambit's gonna have a little action in this film. I just hope that they give the character some essence instead of just putting him in the film for the sake of having him. Overall, based on this trailer, the film looks very promising. In fact, I think that the film has lots of potential! This could be huge.

Wolverine will be directed by Gavin Hood, and star Hugh Jackman, Taylor Kitsch, Liev Schrieber, Ryan Reynolds, and many more!

Stay tuned for the high quality version of the trailer! We'll post as soon as it's released!

Deadpool Spin-Off Is Moving Forward...

According to our sources, 20th Century Fox is moving forward and currently developing "Deadpool", a spin-off from this year's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds is attached to reprise his role as "The Merc With a Mouth."

Lauren Shuler Donner and Marvel Studios will act as producers.

The studio is currently awaiting pitches from writers.

Apparently, the studio had considered the spin-off even during the filming of "Wolverine", which is why they casted Ryan Reynolds into the role.

I definitely thought Reynolds nailed the part. He was definitely a lot of fun to watch, even though he wasn't in the film for very long. I think Ryan Reynolds is the perfect choice for a comic book film. It should be interesting to see where they take the character for the spin-off. I wonder if they'll decide to use David S. Goyer's script.....

So does this mean that Gambit doesn't get his own film?
