Fox Cancels Mad TV......

"This Is So Going In My Blog."

Fox has recently confirmed that MadTv will be canceled at the end of its current season. MadTv has been on the air for 14 years, and has escaped cancellation in recent years.

MadTv was created by Fax Bahr and Adam Small, and was launched in 1995 aimed to compete at NBC's hit show, Saturday Night Live.

The current cast includes Arden Myrin, Bobby Lee, Crista Flanagan, Keegan-Michael Key, Nicole Parker and Johnny Sanchez.

The reason for their cancellation is that the show just couldnt' generate the ratings during the recent presidential campaign. Meanwhile, rival SNL has has one of their best seasons in years.

I was always a fan of MAdTv. At times I even thought that their jokes were funnier than SNL's. But SNL does get the bigger names, and had recently guest-starred candidate, Sarah Pailin which generated positive responses.

Mark Whalberg Visits SNL

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

So yesterday I posted the skit that SNL cast member, Andy Samberg performed on last week's SNL. And I also posted that according to some sources, actor Mark Whalberg had ill feelings about the skit. Well, let me update everyone by saying that these sources were, and let me quote Lex Luthor from Superman Returns, "WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNGG!!!!" Being the good sport that he is, Mark Whalberg visited SNL the following week and performed his own little skit, and I must say, it's freakin' hilarious!! Take my word for it and check the vid.

F*cking Funny!

"This Is So Going In MY Blog,"

Saturday Night Live recently spoofed actor, Mark Whalberg in one of their skits. The skit was called, "Mark Whalberg Talks To Animals", and was performed by SNL cast member, Andy Samberg. According to our sources, Marky Mark didn't like the skit too much and said this:

"Someone showed it to me on YouTube. It wasn't like Tina Fey doing Sarah Palin, that's for sure. And "Saturday Night Live" hasn't been funny for a long time. They've asked me to do the show a ton of times. I used to watch it when Eddie Murphy was there and Joe Piscopo and Bill Murray. I don't even know who's on the show now."

I personally thought the skit was hilarious, and that Andy Samberg did an excellent job. Try closing your eyes and listening to the skit, you would actually think it was Mark Whalberg doing it! I see no reason why anyone should get upset over this. SNL has always been in good fun, and should be taken that way.
