Episode Description

IT’S FREAKY FRIDAY FOR CHLOE AND LOIS WHEN DC CHARACTER ZATANNA APPEARS — At Chloe’s (Allison Mack) birthday party, a mysterious magician named Zatanna (guest star Serinda Swan) grants Chloe’s wish to be more like Lois (Erica Durance) and switches the two into each other’s bodies. Zatanna searches for her father’s book of spells so she can conjure up his spirit but not before also granting Clark (Tom Welling) his deepest wish.

Episode 17: "Hex"

I was definitely excited for this episode. Sure, it was clearly another filler, but this episode marked the first appearance of DC character, Zatanna in the Smallville universe. I definitely enjoy seeing Smallville's twists to these characters, and Zatanna was no exception. The writers are definitely able to make them work, while still staying true to the character's original back story. Another thing I enjoyed about this episode was the whole "granting of wishes" arc, cuz it definitely gave the cast members more depth. This episode is definitely a must-have. The last scene in this episode will blow every fanboy's mind, I guarantee it!!
