Episode Description
ALLISON MACK’S DIRECTORIAL DEBUT — Clark (Tom Welling) finds Tess (Cassidy Freeman) in Lana’s (Kristin Kreuk) ransacked apartment and realizes Lana is missing. Tess tells him Lex is still alive and may have kidnapped Lana and finally reveals the truth about what happened to Lana after she awoke from her Brainiac-induced coma. Meanwhile, Tess breaks into a secret LuthorCorp facility and is shocked at what she discovers.

This was probably Smallville's weakest episode of the season in my opinion. I thought the stories were weak, and for the first time, it felt like the pace had slowed down....drastically. The thing i loved most about this season is that it seemed like every episode forwarderd the main plot. This episode however really gave a "filler" tone. I know fillers are standard in shows like these, but I think excellent writing could always make it less obvious!
