Photos From The Upcoming Tekken Movie

There haven't been a lot of details released about this film, but it is said to stay true to the video game's storyline.

The film will revolve around Jin Kazama (John Foo), as he tries to rid himself of the devil that has infected his soul. He will confront his father, Kazuya Kazama (Ian Anthony Dale), and his grandfather Heihachi Mishima (Cari-Hiroyuki Tagawa).

The film will be directed by Dwight H. Little, and is set to be released on Fall of 2009 to coincide with the home release of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion.

This movie is definitely an interesting one. Now everyone knows that most video game-based movie flop due to the quality of their stories. Just look at the old Street Fighter movie that starred Jean-Claude Van Damme. That shit flopped like nobody's business. Hahahaha! But then you get a movie like the first Mortal Kombat, who stayed true to the source material, had great casting, and awesome fight scenes. These are the ingredients that make a successful adaptation of a video game. In the case of Tekken, the premise of the movie stays true to the source material, and based on these pics, it seems like their casting and costumes will also. I have high hopes for this film, but I wouldn't be surprised if it flopped either.
