Marvel VS. DC?! FIGHT!

Despite “The Dark Knight’s” praise from critics and summer moviegoers, Robert Downey Jr. admits he hated the film.

“My whole thing is that that I saw ‘The Dark Knight,’” Robert said in an interview with Movie Hole. “I'm like, 'That's not my idea of what I want to see in a movie.' I loved 'The Prestige' but didn't understand 'The Dark Knight'. Didn't get it, still can't tell you what happened in the movie, what happened to the character…”

Downey is currently starring in "Tropic Thunder," which knocked "Dark Knight" out of the top spot at this week's box office. He blames "Knight's" “highbrow” script for ruining the film, although he may be biased. The actor clearly has a favorite in the age-old Marvel vs. DC comic book debate.

“I'm like, 'I get it. This is so high-brow and so f---ing smart, I clearly need a college education to understand this movie,'” the actor ranted before adding, “You know what? F--- DC comics. That's all I have to say and that's where I'm really coming from.”

I found Iron Man a surprise... it was freakin good! But The Dark Knight for me, blew it outta the water!

How bout you guys?! Which do you prefer, Marvel or DC?! Comment!

in a way, marvel and dc cater to different audiences. Let's just say marvel covers ages 10 to 25 while dc covers ages 18 to up. Gets?

You want something deep, dark, compelling and people getting killed (for real) here and there, go to DC.

You want something simple, entertaining and everything that isn't what I just said about DC, go to marvel.

oh and when I saw Ironman, is was good, but not great. The plot was predictable but the content of the movie was entertaining.

when I saw batman the first time, it was great. second time, I thought to myself, maybe they should have just made the title into "Joker" and really JUST have focused on Joker.

stupid ersh!
I like both sides naman eh. Its just that my favorite is in DC. If I ever even hated Marvel. I wouldnt have watched Hulk and Ironman on opening night right? AND I watched Ironman 3 times! DAMN.

And i agree with kulitmed.
DC SERIOUSLY has the serious factor in the comic both world. While Marvel has the kiddy entertainment side. Its a matter of which one suits you.

it's funny that Robert Downey Jr. said the Dark Knight is too sophisticated when he himself tends to sound so sophisticated
