Nike Air 1/2 Cent
I was a HUGE Penny Hardaway fan! He's one of my favorite NBA players and his shoes were some of the best Nike ever released. I dont know if you guys remember those famous Foamposites... they were the most expensive Nike shoe ever made when it came out, retailing at $180 US dollars back in '98. Sure thats not that much nowadays, but back then when shoes were $150 max, it was crazy expensive! I was one of the first to rock em in the Philippines and I still have them now! Sure they had mixed reviews cuz of its controversial, outta the box design, but it will always be remembered one of the pairs that broke the mold, and they still remain my favorite Nike design today!
The Nike Air 1/2 Cent will debut in March 2009 at a hefty price of $190. But that's not all bad considering the Foamposite 1 Retro retails for $200. These will be available at select urban accounts and a limited release as well. Hopefully they reach our shores but even though they don't, for a fan like me, its really a nice tribute to one of the SICKEST Nike Line's made!Sunday, August 17, 2008
Nike SB Dunk Low - The Joker

Its shaping up to be The Batman's year. The Dark Knight was a huge hit, breaking several movie records. A game based on it is also reportedly well in the works, with Lego Batman on its way too, along with another game due out August of '09 titled, Batman: Arkham Asylum. And now, Nike Skateboarding is releasing a shoe based on the Joker's color motif. Reportedly due out this Spring, this pair utilizes different color combos and materials, which seems to be SB's next trend.
As for the composition, the toe box and heel are made up of a green canvas and the side panels are seen in a flannel pattern consisting of black and purple. Everything is tied together with a white swoosh and as well as an extra set of red laces. SWEET!

This looks like something thats gonna be hard to pull off, but if you can rock it, why the hell not?! It definitely stands out, and for Batman fans, maybe you wont even need to be able to pull it off, you'd just want to have it for keeps! I mean, this is another thing I wouldn't mind having haha!

SB SNEAKS!

Definitely a fresh catch! The Nike SB Lobster Dunk Lows. I know I'm a lil late with these, actually, a lot late, but they really do catch my eye. They were a limited release but you can still cop em from resellers or specialty stores both in the PI and in the States. In one of the most comprehensive packaging executions in recent memory, a large number of relevant accessories were included which worked out perfectly with the Rob Heppler designed Lobster motif. A look here reveals the special box set gifted to the first 50 buyers. Inside you'll find a lobster shell cracker, a fork, a bib, an extra set of butter yellow laces, keychain, wet naps and shirts. With the set instantly sold out, your only option lies through 3rd party mediums.
COP 'EM LOCALLY!
If you guys have any other sources of SB's or any of those kicks that are hard to find in the PI, let us know as well through Comments or in our Discussion Room.
