More Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen News!!!

Roberto Orci (writer for TF:rotf) has answered more of your questions about the upcoming sequel to the Transformers Live Action Movie, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. In the last couple of days, Mr Orci has confirmed that principle photography for Transformers 2 will wrap "another five weeks or so".

Also, without confirming what Soundwave will turn into (or the Ice Cream truck robot), Roberto Orci stated that Soundwave will not be an ice cream truck, nor will he be an iPod or a combiner made of many iPods. Thank God. I'm still hoping he'll at least be as big as Optimus and be much, MUCH more menacing than Blackout from the first movie.

Asked about Jazz, the answer was a solid "NO" to appearances in either flashbacks or a full return, which finally gives us a solid confirmation that he's dead. Yes folks, he's dead, get over it! No comin back from being torn in two! haha. Its good news though since that leaves a lot more possibilities for the leaked rather it just being a new form of an old robot.

When asked about Devastator, Roberto's response was, "IF such a thing were to happen, it would be done very realistically." With a happy face! I duno bout you guys, but this has got to at least be a 50% confirmation on Devastator! Whoohoo!!!

Roberto Orci also again stated that this movie will deal more specifically with the mythology of the Transformers.

And last, but not least, a question that has been asked by many fans: Will a potentially resurrected Megatron be adopting the name Galvatron? The response to this question is:

"We talked about it a lot."

To me, that sounds like... they talked about it a lot, but no. I'm down with the plot being about The Fallen. Maybe Megatron reincarnated for the 3rd film? That would be cool. Man am I AMPED for this movie!!!
