Control Your iPod Using Only Your Voice!!

This next post if for those who are extremely lazy, and feel like they shouldn't have to use their hands to control their iPods anymore!!

A company call Accenda has released a voice-controller for our Apple iPods. It allows you to control your iPod by speaking commands to its receiver.

It's very simple to use actually. All you gotta do is to hook your headphones up to the Accenda receiver, then hook the receiver up to the dock connector, then voila, feel free to be lazy!! Hahahaha! Although the device is targeted at english-speaking consumers, it is trained to learn and adapt to other languages, and for those people with strong accents. It can work with the iPod Nano (1G, 2G, 3G) iPod Touch, iPod Classic and all other older devices.

The Accenda iPod Voice-Controller is priced at a reasonable $79.00.

I think that this could actually be very useful. I mean, I do at times, find it a little hassling to have to stick my hands into my pocket to increase or lower the volume. It's even worse for me since I have a protective jacket on my iPod, making it even more difficult to work the iPod while it's in my pocket. I think this voice-controller will eliminate that problem for me, and make life easier. But there is the possibility that people will think you're a freak since you will be speaking to yourself!

What do you think? Comment!!

iPod Nano TV Ad

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

Here is the recently released TV ad for the 4th gen Nanos. The Nanos are availabe in 9 colors, and now sports a curved, all aluminum, glass design. Apple's new Genius feature will also come with the Nano, as well theAccelerometer. It'll come in an 8gb variant, and a 16gb variant. These are available now, and can be ordered at Apple Website

I think these Nanos are the best looking Nano to date. I wasn't a big fan of the previous designs, but I'm definitley feeling the 4th gen. I love the curved look, and not to mention the larger screen. I would definitely pick me up a silver or red one if I were to buy myself a Nano.

Which would you get? Comment!

New iPods Announced!

Yup yup, for the millions of Apple followers, you knew it was comin... the announcement of the new iPod Nano, iPod Touch and Shuffle! Though bad news to those who were hoping for the rumored price cut (supposedly pricing the Touch lower than the iPhone 3G), no price cut here.

The screen and the dimensions of the iPod Touch remain the same with just the outer casing receiving a little face-lift. It has taken queues from the iPhone with its rounded back and chrome bezzle. Sizes remain the same with 16gb and 32gb variants. Some additions that I find very useful over the 1st Gen are the newly placed volume controls on the side and a new, nice sounding speaker. For 1st Gen owners, like me, I wouldnt panic too much as I dont think these minor updates are worth shelling out another $240-$400 for, but if you're mad at money, then its cool to have.

This Nano makes it the 4G, or 4th generation of its kind. Instead of its usual look, Apple put emphasis on a wider screen and gave it much more vibrant and playful colors. It also shed it typical square shaped casing for a more "oblong" shape, giving it tapered ends like that of the iPhone 3G. The OS is also seen to have changed as well as flash disk size, going up to 8gb & 16gb variants. Ill take one in silver please!

You guys gonna jump the gun? What do you guys think of the new iPod lineup? Comment Comment!

*for anyone really interested in getting these, send me an email and I might be able to help you one!

Gorenje Fridge: Made For iPod's!

"This Is So Going InMy Blog,"

With all the new tech coming out nowadays, it almost feels like we've finally stepped into the future....and I'm talking about "Back to the Future 2" future. With phones adopting touch screen technology, TV's getting slimmer and slimmer by the day, who knows what's next? I DO!! Now imagine a fridge that u can control with your iPod Touch. Yes folks, I said iPod Touch. Gorenje is an official Apple-licensed refrigerator. You control this with your iPod using an application called iGorenj. This application isn't lmited to refrigerators, you can actually control all sorts of appliances with this application like ovens, washing machines, etc. "What-Up"

The application is not built for iPhone/iPod touch, however, but it is served from a home server that controls the appliances directly. This allows not only to use the iPod touch, but also any other web device in your home Wi-Fi network. The program allows you to program the devices using a very easy to use graphical user interface.

For example, you can set your oven to cook a type of cake by just visually selecting a recipe and clicking start. In fact, you can even get recipes straight from the server itself. Awesome!

iPod Nano/Touch Update

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

New pictures of silicone cases for the iPod Nano have surfaced online. We're not sure if these cases are 100% real, but I doubt they're fake since we've already seen the a pic of what could be the new Nano. Pictures of silicone cases for the Touch have also surfaced online. Now we're not so sure about these ones since we haven't really seen anything on the "redesigned" Touch. But check it out.

The new Nano and Touch could be hitting out stores earlier than you think. Sources say that they might be out as early as Sept. 9, so for those looking to buy new mp3 players, I'd recommend you guys be patient and wait for these to come out!

iPod Nano Update

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

Pics of the new Nano have surfaced online.....The Nano is now longer, skinnier and edgier than its predecessors. Not much have been said about its "new features," but I'll let u know as soon as I hear anything else.

Sources say that iPod products will have a significant drop in their prices to distance itself from the $199 iPhones. The iPod Touch is said to have minimal cosmetic changes, including a 2.1 software. The Nano, as you can see will have a significantly large cosmetic change.

I don't know about u guys, but I think that this is the best looking Nano so far. I really did not like the other designs. But I'm still curious to see how the "slightly redesigned" Touch will look like. I'll get back to you as soon as I find something! We should be seeing these products real soon. It could be as early as next month!

New iPod Nanos

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

Rumors have surfaced online that Apple is currently discontinuing their current iPod products in their inventory system. Rumor has it that Apple is planning to release a slightly redesigned $200.00 iPod Touch, as well as a brand new look for the iPod Nanos, which will come in the form of rainbow colors. (No, the pic above aren't the new Nanos) It's said that the new Nano will have enhanced features like double the capacity.

Hmm...this definitely sounds interesting to me! I've been wrestling with myself trying to figure out whether I should get the Touch or not, but with these rumors going around, I'd rather be patient and find out if they're true or not! A redesigned Touch is music to my ears!

While these are just rumors, you must take this with a grain of salt! But stay tuned for updates, cuz I'll definitely let u guys know as soon as I do!
