Episode Description

AS “VOLUME 4: FUGITIVES” COMES TO A CLOSE, THE FIGHT TO STOP SYLAR HAS CONSEQUENCES THAT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING – EMMY AWARD-WINNER ZELJKO IVANEK AND MICHAEL DORN GUEST STAR – Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) faces off against Sylar (Zachary Quinto) to keep him from meeting the President (guest star Michael Dorn). Sylar has his own plans for his new partner. Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) learns that there are repercussions to regaining his ability. Episode 25: "An Invisible Thread"

This episode was definitely not season finale material if you ask me. Heroes has definitely struggled this season in the creativity department, and I firmly believe that this is why their ratings have continuously fallen. I certainly hope that the Tim Kring and his team of writers can find a way to overcome this slump and come back strong next season.

Chuck 2 x 22: "Chuck Versus The Ring"

According to our sources, this could very well be the series finale for Chuck. I guess the ratings have been low, and the network has decided not to pick the show up for a third season.

I haven't seen the episode, but I've heard that the storylines all come to a conclusion in this episode.

Heroes Season 4 Will Be Shorter.....

With the crap that season 2 was, and the continuous dropping of the ratings for NBC's once hit show, Heroes, NBC has currently been struggling on a decision to what exactly the y should do with the show. In 2007, the show was able to draw in over $156 million for NBC. Due to the writers strike of 2008, the show was off the air for the first nine months. When season 3 began, the show's momentum was obviously missing. This year, the show was only able to make around $61.7 million.

Most shows would normally be n the crosshairs for cancellation right now, but Heroes is still NBC's top rated show. So instead of cancelling the show, NBC has decided to shorten the number of episodes for its fourth season. It has been reported that the season will only consist of about 18-20 episodes.

As a huge Heroes fan, I am saddened with this decision by NBC. But then again, I can't really blame them either. The quality of the show has suffered tremendously, and there have been many episodes this season where I said to myself, "damn, that episode was just crap." The producers and writers need to find a way to recapture the magic they once had with season 1 or else, season 4 may very well be their final season.

Episode Description

THE IDENTITY OF “REBEL” IS REVEALED WITH CHILLING CONSEQUENCES – EMMY AWARD-WINNER ZELJKO IVANEK, BREA GRANT AND SWOOSIE KURTZ GUEST STAR – HRG (Jack Coleman) convinces Emile Danko (guest star Zeljko Ivanek), a.k.a. “The Hunter”, to release Tracy (Ali Larter) from “Building 26,” in hopes that she will lead them to “Rebel.” As Angela (Cristine Rose) evades capture, she turns to an old friend (guest star Swoosie Kurtz) for help. In Los Angeles, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) continue on their latest mission from “Rebel” to protect the newest hero.

Episode 20: "Cold Snap"

This episode marked the return of writer, Bryan Fuller. Fuller, who was a writer back in season 1, when the quality of the show was at its peak, left after the season. Now did I see improvement in this week's episode now that he's back? Hell Yeah!!! This episode was awesome man.....The storytelling was just great. I mean, this season of Heroes has had a lot of boring episodes, but this one was just the opposite. I thought the pace was good, the action sequences was just right, and the reveals really took you by surprise. I think you guys are really gonna enjoy this one folks!

Episode 17: "Cold Wars"

This was yet just another ok episode for me. It was another H.R.G. episode, and it actually revealed a lot about this half of the season. However, the pace of the episode was very slow, and I actually almost fell asleep at times. Since the reveal of the tragedy the heroes must stop is shown in this episode, they can speed up the pace and show more action in the future episodes, cuz lately, it has just been a lot of nonsense talking if you ask me.

Episode Description

Episode 16: "Building 26"

This was yet another slow episode for me. I actually had high hopes for this one since last week's episode was actually pretty good. I think the writers need to be making their stories tighter, and removing all the nonsense talking. I like the theme for this half, but for a theme like, "Fugitives" we should be seeing more action sequences, and more chase scenes, kinda like Prison Break. If the show wants to survive, have the writers write better.

Nathan and Peter face off, and Nathan makes a move with far reaching consequences. Sylar takes desperate measures at Primatech and the fates of several heroes hang in the balance. Ando, Matt, and Daphne continue their quest to save Hiro.

This was another great ep form the hit show! The first half of the season, "Villains" wraps up in this mid-season finale, so we won't be getting any new eps for awhile. Stay tuned for the second half, "Fugitives" next year!!

Chuck Episode 2 x 10: Chuck vs The DeLorean

Again, I apologize for the late post. My net and I just keep disagreeing.

In this episode, Sarah's father, a con artist, comes to meet her, revealing that he conned a Saudi Arabian sheik, Rajiv Amad, out of nearly a million dollars. The sheik turns out to be connected to terrorist fundings, so the General wants Sarah and Chuck to gain intel from Sarah's father, but things get complicated when Amad shows up. Anna wants to take her relationship with Morgan a step further and asks him to move in an apartment with her. Devon lends him some money to buy one, but instead, he buys a car.

Heroes Episode 3 x 12: Our Father

Sorry for the delay on this one guys. My net's been acting up these past few days!

Anyways, in this episode, Hiro and Claire unite in their bid to stop Arthur by traveling back in time. Peter and the Haitian must face Sylar in order to get to Arthur. Ando, and DaphneMatt search for the last 9th Wonders! story.

Jay Leno, Not Leaving NBC After All.....

Funny man, Jay Leno isn't done with the jokes just yet.

Everyone had expected Jay Leno to leave NBC in 2009 when his contract for his show, the Tonight Show would expire. Conan O' Brien is set to take over. But NBC has just thrown a curve ball!!

Insiders had predicted that someone like Jay Leno, someone with still plenty of ratings draw, would be easily wooed by large amounts of money from another competing network.

I guess these insiders were wrong.

According to the New York Times, NBC is giving him a nightly show at 10pm!

So basically, the same kind of show he's doing now, only earlier.

I think it's safe to say that he's probably being lots of cash too.

No other network has ever placed a show like this during its prime time.

This is considered a very strategic move on NBC's part. NBC, who is fourth in the ratings, behind ABC, FOX, and CBS has everything to gain with this move. Jay will most likely draw in more viewers and advertisements.

NBC's Heroes Losing Flight

According to sources, Heroes has struggled with the ratings for their third season. They have reached numerous lows this year. Many fans have criticised the show saying, "they're just not able to re-capture the magic they had back in Season 1." Some have completely stopped tuning in due to poor story-telling. The show just couldn't revive itself after a mediocre second season, and the Writer's Strike.

And to add to this, NBC excutives have fired long-time producers, Jeese Alexander and Jeph Loeb. The duo had been a part of the show since season 1, and were known to have led the day-to-day production operation under the direction of creator/executive producer Tim Kring.

It is said that Alexander and Loeb were let go due to creative differences. Apparently, NBC had been frustrated with the direction the show has been taking.

Sources also say that the show has been dealing with hefty budget overruns, and that they're going well beyond their usual $4 million per episode.
In my opinion, I think the show is awesome. They've definitely taken notice to the problems they had in Season 2 and have made Season 3 a lot better. I think that the show really took a hit because of the Writer's Strike. They weren't able to completely tell the story of Season 2, and they were just gone for way too long. I'm sure some fans had lost their excitement somewhere along the way. But honestly, I think Season 3 is a lot better. The stories are tighter, and is moving at an ideal pace. I hope more fans tune in cuz I'm not ready to say goodbye to the show just yet.
