Stiller, Wilson & De Niro For Little Fockers

According to our very reliable source, a sequel to Ben Stiller's Meet The Fockers is moving forward very quickly over at Universal. This will be the third installment in the very successful franchise, and will be titled, Little Fockers.

John Hamburg has been brought on board to write the screenplay after fellow writer, Larry Stuckey wrote an earlier draft.

Jay Roach, the director of the previous two films was loosely attached to the project, but opted to leave it to direct Dinner For Schmucks for Dreamworks.

Producers are now focusing their attentions on finding a comedy director (including Paul Weitz, David Wain, and Payton Reed) to helm the project. Universal plans to start filming as early as summer or fall.

Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro and Owen Wilson are in negotiations to star in Little Fockers, which is expected to revolve around the children of Stiller and Teri Polo, who plays his wife.

I'm totally up for another installment of this franchise!! I thought the last two were very funny, and enjoyable. The ensemble cast of Stiller, Wilson, and De Niro is a winner, you can't go wrong. From what I know, this project has actually been in the works for quite some time now, I'm not sure what caused the delay, but I'm glad that they are moving forward now. If this installment is anything like its predecessors, then we've got nothing to worry about.

What do you think? Comment!!
