Transformers 3 Update!

Straight from the lion's den... a response from Michael Bay himself regarding Paramount/Dreamworks July 2011 release date for the 3rd Transformers film...

Wait a minute! I said I was taking off a year from Transformers. Paramount made a mistake in dating Transformers 3 - they asked me on the phone - I said yes to July 4 - but for 2012 - whoops! Not 2011!!! That would mean I would have to start prep in September. No way. My brain needs a break from fighting robots. Michael

So there you have it! If ever there is a 3rd, I guess we have an unofficial confirmation (is there such a thing?? haha) that it will be in 2012, not 2011. No Transformers then for at least 2 years... ahh patience is a virtue.
