The Plot:
The story will be set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Nixon is still President, and the feud bewtween the United States and the Soviet Union are at its peak. A vigilante named Rorschach investigates the murder of a hero named, The Comedian. While investigating, Rorschach uncovers a plot to discredit and murder more heroes. He also begins to unravel a conspiracy that involves his colleagues' pasts, and which could change the course of history forever.

Bottom Line:
Honestly, I'm still not 100% sold on this film just yet. I know that the graphic novel was really popular, and that its got a huge fan base. But as I watch the trailer, I don't feel the need to see it asap! Maybe you have to be a fan of the novel to really appreciate the trailers. BUT, I do consider myself to be a DC fan, so I will probably head to the theaters and check this out. Who knows, I might just end up enjoying the film, and eventually become a fan of The Watchmen. Let's wait and see....
