Xander Cage In XXX 3.....

Just last month, it was announced that director Rob Cohen and actor Vin Diesel was reteaming with Coloumbia Pictures and producer Joe Roth to produce the third installment to the successful XXX franchise.

Collider has revealed that Rob Cohen had spoken about the targeted release date for the film.

Cohen was quoted saying:

"Yes, they're doing it with me and producer Joe Roth. We made the deal recently, it's named xXx: The Return of Xander Cage. We met the writers yesterday and we're trying to get into production by late spring, to have it out for the summer of 2010."

Now, I'm not a huge fan of the franchise, but I guess fans will be glad that the original XXX is returning. Now answer me this; is Vin Diesel returning to the franchise because he's got nothing left, or does he truly wanna return for the fans?
