Philippe Starck Crystal Clear Watch

"This Is So Going In My Blog,"

Nowadays, watchmakers are taking on new looks with their designs. With O.D.M. adapting the funky, digital look, and Toy Watch adapting the plastic bracelets, designs for watches have become limitless. Hey, an outfit is only a good as its accessories right? People nowadays look for new, trendy watches as sort of a way to help express their fits. Watches can be simple and classy, or they can be fun and loud. You choose.

Philippe Starck is a well-known French designer, who's probably best known for his New Design Style. His designs range from interior designs, to mass produced products like, toothbrushes, chairs, and even houses.

Unlike most other New Design artists, Starck's work does not concentrate on the creation of provocative and expensive single pieces. Instead, his product designs are of usable household items which Starck himself helps to market for mass production. His products and furnishings are often stylized, streamlined and organic in their look and are also constructed using unusual combinations of materials (such as glass and stone, plastic and aluminum, plush fabric and chrome, etc.).

Philippe Starck has just recently launched his latest design in the form of The Crystal Clear Watch. This cool LCD watch features a bright red LCD display, a hidden clasp, and is water-resistant up to 3 ATM. The Crystal Watch comes with a polyurethane band that comes in either black or white.

This awesome timepiece is being sold through Fossil for about $125.00.
